Karen moved to Chico, California, in 1990. Karen refused to change her dentist. "It's because I trust Dr. Sakai," says Karen.The drive is 3.25 hours each way. Karen reports "I used to drive 3.25 hours from Chico to San Jose every six months for hygiene appointments for seven (7) years! Because I recently bought a house in Dixon with Dave Russell, my drive is now only 1.5 hours each way."I work at NorCal Beverage. When I tell people I work with that I get to go to the dentist this weekend, first they can't believe my dentist makes weekend appointments, and then they can't believe I enjoy going to the dentist! I tell them it doesn't hurt and it feels good afterward, and I trust Dr. Sakai to do what's best for me.I feel especially appreciative to NorCal Beverage for buying dental insurance that allows me to go to my regular dentist. But to tell you the truth, if NorCal Beverage changed to a dental insurance where I would have to choose a dentist from a book, I would not take the insurance. Dr. Sakai lets me make payments I can afford. I trust him.There are also other wonderful things that happen when I visit my dentist. I get to stay with my Mom, Sherma Ballreich, and visit with Dr. Sakai's friendly staff. The office is very friendly, and I enjoy coming.
